I’m Tiffany, owner of Style Couture Events and Savvy Wedding Business Academy. For me, every day is different and exciting, and I love life as an entrepreneur in the wedding industry.
Twelve years ago, I followed my dream of opening a wedding planning business. Coming from a family where my father was a footwear designer (wonder why shoes are another passion of mine!), and a stay at home mom that was the queen of entertaining (and still is!), I grew up learning the workings of running a successful business and now I feel extremely fortunate to run a thriving and flourishing wedding planning and décor company. Being in such a “happy” industry is truly an honor.
But, let’s be honest – it’s not all about work! I’m passionate about life and that includes not only my business, but also God, and my family, which includes two beautiful children (Savvy, short for Savannah, 12; and Chase, 9).
An important stepping stone to my success, was acting as the Studio Manager for a renowned food photographer in Chicago. From prop styling to casting calls, my days were filled with taking care of clients and understanding the background of the perfect photo shoot. Executing events calls for the same skills. That experience was priceless.
Let’s see…what else? Well, I’m super organized, love public speaking (I know, I’m crazy), I never leave the house without lip gloss (even to take my kiddos to school) and I always have at least four bracelets on at any given time (love me some bling!) Starbucks is my number one choice of beverage. I’m proud to be one of those $1200+ statistics.
Most importantly, I love being around people. I tend to get called a social butterfly as I’ll talk to anyone about anything. It’s these moments of being surrounded by those who bring meaning to my life – whether poolside in the sun, shopping (for anything), or even just a quick call on the phone, that make me genuinely happy.
Tiffany helped to make my day special. She was chosen to help throughout my whole wedding planning process and for the day of our wedding. I don't see how people have a wedding without a planner. I am very well organized and could have easily done it all myself and saved some money, but even with me being organized there was still no way I could have executed such an amazing wedding without a planner. 100 things happen that you have no control over, I don't care how well you are organized and she was right there to fix it, solve it, or handle it. I can't imagine how much off a zoo my wedding would have been without a hired planner, with everything I had going on. She was amazing and we are ever so grateful for her passion in planning fabulous weddings. I left it up to Tiffany when it came to my main decor and she nailed it.
